National Tattoo Day in Santa Ana

National Tattoo Day is an unofficial observance celebrated annually on July 17. Its significance is less about a historical event and more about recognizing tattooing as an art form, a means of personal expression, and a cultural tradition.

Some places leave a mark on you. Santa Ana is one of them.

This National Tattoo Day, Travel Santa Ana is partnering with Good Daze Tattoo to celebrate the culture, creativity, and community that make our city one-of-a-kind. To commemorate the occasion, Travel Santa Ana will cover the cost of a Santa Ana signature tattoo for the first 25 people who choose from four exclusive flash designs created to represent the spirit of our city.

Because Santa Ana isn't just a place you visit—it's a place you carry with you.

Flash Tattoo Event

Good Daze Tattoo will offer exclusive flash tattoos priced between $150 and $300 on July 17, from 12 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Free Santa Ana Signature Tattoos

The first 25 guests who select one of the four official Santa Ana signature designs will receive their tattoo free, courtesy of Travel Santa Ana.

Choose from one of four signature logo designs that celebrate Santa Ana's identity and creative spirit. Design options include Santa Ana signatures from artists Wendy Duong, Brian Peterson, Alicia Rojas, and Aki Tsuneizumi.

After getting inked, guests are invited to share their new Santa Ana signature by tagging @TravelSantaAna on social media.

Why Celebrate National Tattoo Day?

Tattoos have long been a way to tell stories, honor memories, celebrate culture, and express identity. National Tattoo Day recognizes the artists who bring those stories to life while celebrating tattooing as a respected and enduring art form.

Santa Ana has always been a city fueled by creativity—from its vibrant murals and galleries to its independent businesses and thriving arts scene. Partnering with one of our local tattoo studios is another way to showcase the talent and culture that make Santa Ana unlike anywhere else.
