Owner, Santos Pizza
Q: Where were you born?
A: I was born right here in Santa Ana, at Coastal Community Hospital on Bristol. It doesn’t get more Santa Ana than that.
Q: What is something most people don’t know about you?
A: Most people know I’m a car guy and that I love classic custom cars. But what many don’t know is that Japanese cars—like Type R Hondas, Nissan Skylines, and Toyota Supras—move my soul. I love driving fast and being technical behind the wheel.
Q: What inspired you to open your business?
A: It wasn’t so much inspiration as it was an idea. I believe ideas are gifts, and it’s our responsibility to bring them to life. This business is one of those gifts.
Q: What is unique about your business?
A: Our business is unique because we have one of the only serving windows in the city—something you’d typically see at classic New York pizza shops. But beyond the food, we’re more than just a pizza shop. We’re building a brand that’s deeply rooted in Santa Ana.
Q: What recommendation do you have for visitors?
A: I’d recommend stopping by Good Daze Tattoo to check out their artwork, catching a skate session at the new Downtown Santa Ana skate park, grabbing a slice at Santos, and finishing with a craft beer from El Indio Botanas y Cerveza right next door.
